this past weekend, we celebrated my little sister’s 21st birthday down in savannah [yes, there is quite the age difference between us]! the weekend getaway was really fun, we planned lots of savannah activities – including a ghost tour in a hearse – and really went all out with decor.
I found the best set of tissue paper banners on amazon, I’ve linked everything below at the bottom of this post. seriously… the kit was less than $20 on prime and included 5 banner sets. I will definitely reuse them for future showers and parties. I also love these custom champagne labels from etsy.
the house we rented in savannah was the quintessential southern savannah mansion, just dripping with traditional details both in architecture and decor. I mixed in our party props with the southern decor in the home… including vintage photos of people we didn’t know 🙂 charming, right?
I had these cute itinerary invitations made over at zazzle.com – which I am obsessed with, if you haven’t tried zazzle for invitations, I definitely recommend it. I placed an itinerary by each person’s bed with a mini bottle of booze, ranging from fireball and jack for the guys to skyy coconut and peach vodka for the ladies.
on friday, we tried a new restaurant that was closer to forsyth park and was the one of the best dinners I’ve had in savannah, be sure to check out cuoco pazzo if you’re in the area. afterward, we had cake and presents back at the house. my mom ordered this super cute cake from a local savannah bakery and it was so good! saturday was a busy day roaming around savannah, followed by dinner and a ghost tour in a hearse… which is SO savannah.
we had a great weekend exploring savannah and celebrating the big 2-1!
