confession, y’all. we totally decorated for christmas before thanksgiving this year. sorry, not sorry! we put up our new skinny flocked tree in our master bedroom like two weeks ago and put the rest of the decor up around the house a few days before thanksgiving. I think I just needed an early dose of sparkle this year.
I made a lot of our ornaments last year using potpourri filler and I think I may want to make another batch, you can never have enough ornaments right?
I recently found this gorgeous, long galvanized trough at kirkland’s and for an easy holiday centerpiece, I just added some greenery and pinecones and voila! I love it.
peppermint kiss, anyone? 🙂
on our entry way table, I added greenery and my collection of trees. I recently added another tree to the collection this year, the glass one with the gold star. I found it at queen of hearts – a gorgeous antique market in atlanta, for $5!
for me, holiday decor is all about the lush, cozy details like this gorgeous monogrammed sherpa blanket from marleylilly. this would make the best christmas present!
oh, and it’s totally pet approved 🙂
we recently took a trip to see the biltmore all dressed up for christmas, which I’ll share later this week… it was so beautiful. I found this sweet tea towel at one of the biltmore shops and had to make it mine.
if you need me, I’ll be wrapping presents, sealing christmas cards, or doing some holiday cooking. I love this time of year! do you have your holiday decor up yet?
