the day turned out to be really hot, being that it’s a natural spring, the water was quite cold. we picked a spot with both sun and shade options, turned our speakers on, and spent a few hours laying out and catching up.
after a few hours in the sun, we headed home for naps and showers before getting the evening started. the best advice is to not drink too much during the day of the bachelorette, as we all know, things can go downhill quickly and the next thing you know – the bride’s out of commission at 4pm and you’ve missed your dinner reservation.
before going to dinner, we played a game of bridal jeopardy. the groom was asked questions ahead of time on video and the bride had to guess his answers. if answers didn’t match, guests had to partake in champagne jello shots and boozy gummy bears.
for dinner, the guests wore black dresses and the bride wore white – we all wore our cowboy boots and bling. the group went to fonda san miguel to enjoy much needed mexican food and margaritas! afterward, we all took uber to west 6th street and played more bachelorette games while we were out.
