the shower of the century went off without a hitch! no detail was spared in this surprise breakfast at tiffany’s themed shower for my best friend. her mom, sister in law, matron of honor, and maid of honor (yours truly) have been planning for months for our girl and it finally all came together to knock the bride’s socks off. she was so surprised and we had a blast.
from the tiffany blue couch rental to the tiffany blue pool umbrella, the mimosa bar to the pearls and sunglasses favors – every aspect was over the top and so thoughtful. and how beautiful is this red velvet cake!
love these tiffany invites from etsy
guests were greeted immediately with plenty of festive signs and mimosas from the mimosa bar – orange, cranberry, and grapefruit juices with assorted fruits. the flags for flag day were also a festive touch.
the MOB and SIL hand dipped bottles of champagne in glitter and hot glued pearl napkin rings to the neck of the bottles for extra bling!
the most perfect tiffany blue couch was a huge hit!
as soon as the bride arrived, her mom adorned her with surprise audrey hepburn accessories including new badgley mischka tiffany blue bedazzled shoes, long black gloves, and diamonds and pearls. since the theme was a surprise, the bride was told to wear white and all guests wore little black dresses. the favor bags included black sunnies and pearls which made great photo ops.
cake balls, chocolate covered oreos and pretzels, mimosas on repeat
partners in crime minus the MOB
the bride and me, best friends since high school
the MOB really helped make my present recording job glamorous and easy by providing me with an alphabetized guest list and a crystal encrusted clipboard… I persuaded her to give me the diamond pen too!
the MOB prepared for months – there was food everywhere! egg and cheese cups, onion tarts, artichoke dip, sausage croissants, pumpkin bread, fruit kabobs, salad, so much food! after eating and mingling, and popping more champagne bottles – we played a few bridal shower games and the bride opened her presents.
the bride received tons of amazing gifts, a lot of beautiful glassware and pots and pans. I gifted her a monogrammed cake pan above with tiffany colors so she could always remember this day. after the shower, the bride gifted the shower hostesses with the most beautiful personalized serving trays. love these! such a special surprise.
all in all, the breakfast at tiffany’s shower was everything and more that the bride hoped for, all the hard work was worth it…
next up, 6 week countdown until the bachelorette party!
audrey has left the building, darlings.
